UP 'N RUNNING - BUT STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Introduction:

     WHEN talking about Postwar Lionel Trains, or those offered by American Flyer, Marx and a host of other manufacturers, a word that quite often makes collectors drool is.....RARITY.  In other words, "How Rare is It?"

     Yet another special word that makes collectors drool, or really stands up and catches their attention is.....MONEY.  In other words, "What's it Worth?"

     So for those collecting, operating, or selling Postwar Lionel Trains, and a host of others, the words, Rarity and Money, just seem to go hand-in-hand.

     Therefore, I thought we'd have a little fun trying to arrange a few items from the Postwar Lionel era that would qualify as RARE or MOST VALUABLE.  But then I also decided to add another topic that is also close to home, and which ones are the all-time COLLECTOR FAVORITES.

     Of course, each item I choose will be highly subjective, but that's what happens anytime somebody picks their top 10 or top 25 in any type category.
